The Asphalt Ribbons pictures were taken at The Barracuda in Nottingham on the same night as those below of the Legendary Dolphins. Some of the members of The Asphalt Ribbons later developed into the internationally respected Tindersticks (official site and fan site)


This is the 1980s Nottingham band Clint Bestwood and the Mescal Marauders. Some of the photographs were taken at Jaceys Bar, where I worked during the mid to late 80s.


The images below were taken in the 1980s of the musician Kyle Christy who played with The Bestwoods, and now his current band, Old Man Pie which can be found here

Another Nottingham 80s band was The Legendary Dolphins. They played the usual venues including Jaceys, The Old Angel, The Running Horse, and can be seen in these photographs at The Barracuda, Hurts Yard, Nottingham.
