Typical British comedy featuring Gregson as a wealthy Yorkshire textile magnate who takes off to London after a fight with his girl friend, Stephen, and soon begins romancing the ever-voluptuous Dors, a showgirl. While Dors likes Gregson, she figures he's a pauper and turns down his marriage proposal. When she eventually finds out that Gregson's a millionaire, she rushes into his arms and agrees to marriage. Gregson, however, has had second thoughts, and after Dors confirms his suspicions by quickly spending a fortune, he returns to his old girl friend. After having a taste of wealth, Dors doesn't give up and winds up finding another rich Yorkshireman to marry.
